trade association of professional photographers, employees, suppliers,
and others allied to the profession. Professional Photographers of
California offers a variety of opportunities for its members and is one
of the largest state affiliates of the Professional Photographers of
America.

largest nonprofit association for professional photographers, with more
than 20,000 members in 54 countries. This association seeks to increase
its members’ business savvy as well as broaden their creative scope,

Santa Maria Camera Club
Santa Maria Camera Club generally meets twice a month, the first and third Wednesdays, in Santa Maria, California. It has 10 monthly program meetings and 10 monthly competitions each year. It organizes photographic day, weekend and week trips.
The Creative Center for Photography
The Creative Center for Photography supports the photographic community by providing top-quality
learning opportunities throughout the year. The Freestyle Advisory Board uses the Creative
Center to conduct Member's nationally recognized lectures and workshops year-round.
Wedding & Portrait Photographers International (WPPI)
Wedding & Portrait Photographers International is devoted to the special interests and needs of wedding and portrait photographers.
WPPI recently completed its 29th annual Convention and Trade Show, drawing over 12,000 attendees and 365 exhibitors to its new convention space, the MGM Grand Hotel in Las Vegas.
Women in Photography International (WIPI)
Founded
in 1981, and reorganized in 2000 as an online resource center, Women
in Photography International serves the needs of photographers, photo
educators, photography students, gallery owners and photographic organizations
around the world. In
keeping with its mission, it promotes the visibility of women photographers
and their work through a variety of programs, exhibitions, juried
competitions and publications.
